Holiday Roasted Brussel Sprouts Salad

Dec 19, 2019

Holiday season is finally here! With holiday season comes holiday parties and gatherings. Are you looking for a side dish to wow your fellow party goers? Well, Majka’s got you covered! We created the ultimate holiday side dish that mamas will love not only because of how delicious it tastes, but just how simple it is to make (and some added lactation boosting goodness)!

Speaking of that lactation boosting goodness, Majka’s Lactation Booster is a versatile powder packed full of lactation-producing galactagogues like turmeric, shatavari, caraway, flaxseed, and milk thistle. These ingredients not only give you a healthy boost in your milk supply, but they also help to improve the quality of your breast milk. The Lactation Booster helps fight against inflammation (particularly in mastitis) and can help balance your hormones.

What Makes This Recipe so Nutritious?

Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts seem to have a bad rap when it comes to taste, but they are actually pretty tasty depending on how you prepare them. Not only are they tasty, they are tiny nutrient powerhouses that contain vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants and can be anti-inflammatory.

Cranberries

Cranberries are a fan favorite around the holidays, and for good reason. Cranberries are filled with so many amazing nutritional benefits like; antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and aid in immune system and gut health

Garlic

Garlic is often used to enhance flavor in recipes, but most people don’t know that is has quite a bit of nutritional properties. It’s also very popular because while it has nutritional benefits, it’s also very low calorie. According to Healthline, one clove of garlic contains Manganese, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Selenium, and Fiber

As you can see, this recipe is on the simpler side so you can totally throw the ingredients together in a flash. Which makes this recipe perfect for mamas who are in a time crunch! Even if you don’t take this to a holiday party, it’s a great meal prep recipe that is easy to grab and go when you’re in the middle of a hectic day and need a quick nutritional boost.
